This grey automatic door system can be fitted to various types of poultry housing to automate morning and evening routines. It operates using a light sensor that reacts to sunrise and sunset, or it can be programmed with a specific timer. The horizontal opening mechanism is designed to be reliable in all weather conditions.
Safety sensors are built into the unit to prevent the door from closing if a bird is standing in the way. This feature ensures that late-returning hens are not harmed during the locking process. The grey finish offers a neutral look that blends well with different coop styles and materials without requiring maintenance.
The unit is battery-powered, which eliminates the need for complex wiring or proximity to an electrical outlet. It is designed to work in freezing temperatures and high heat, providing consistent security for the flock. This set of features helps protect birds from nocturnal predators while giving the owner more flexibility in the morning.
